Cruellest month

The flu that laid me and half a dozen other people low last Friday seems to linger forever as an unplaceable malaise. I'm on a medication that can have a rocky adjustment period including physical and mental light-headedness. I had an acupuncture session today that involved some massage and shiatsu, both of which have emotional fallout. But mostly I think I'm suffering the pressure changes of this particular classic Toronto April. Classic April takes one of two forms-- warm, sticky, thunderous, and oppressive; or cold, grey, snow-sleet wet, with ferocious winds. We're having the latter, and I can't remember the last time bicycling wasn't a matter of tacking against the wind and dodging blown garbage and tree branches.

Shall warm up the bean bags and HWB and muffle myself in my cocoon of flannel and feathers and go to bed at the unheard of hour of 9 pm. If it *is* the flu, that might put paid to it.

Much sympathy. I hope things improve.

Thank you. Nine hours of sleep seems to have helped.

*HUGS* glad to hear you had a good long rest. Stay well.

We are having April showers and high humidity. Not quite 'sleeping weather'. More like ...'ugh, do we have to wear clothes?' because everything sticks. And the little boy is being sneezy too.

I packed him off to bed and hopefully he gets up bright eyed because he still has homework to finish.

Have a good 'Good Friday'. ^_^

Ugh. Rainy season weather basically. And here's us rejoicing that it'll get to **18** on Saturday. With rain of course, but maybe not have to wear the winter coat and under-fleece.
