The great purple Cow Pee strikes again
Read the quote of the week up there at the top and weep. Weep great salt tears at what an enterprising Australian and his pinyin illiterate friends in China have wrought.
Thank you so much,

endearingly badfanfic! Except that copyright expired centuries ago (if it ever existed)."incorporation of other genres"
Like space opera? Or zombie romantic comedy! (mm, brains)
Actually most of the pinyin appear to be correct, except for the unfortunate
CowKaoCao family. What is hilarious is the link to Wiki with the *right* pinyin and corresponding hanzi.no subject

Except that I can barely keep the main canon events and characters straight,
Whoever manages to? I'm now reading the thing third time (in anglais, of course), and I still don't. (But then im only here for the slashy and/or the gossipy bits.)

Luckily there're so many of those. You still have to remember which second string general it is that Cao Cao or Liu Bei has a pash for.

Or Ravages of Time, maybe, that adds a face and kanji to the names. But the translated to Japanese part is all stuff before the story gets interesting and is a hideous price once the exchange rate gets factored in.

Yours truly, on the other hand, stops at Doraemon when it comes to reading chineses.

You're mad. I stop at 趴趴熊蹺 (translated from the Japanese) when it comes to reading Chinese. There's this little thing called grammar, to say nothing of variant meanings between the kanji and hanzi, to say nothing of 了 moan tremble tremble.
Mhhh- scanlations. Maybe will look at. Thanks.
