Anyone wanting the latest Gaiden ep will find it at saiyuki_manga, but you have to join the community to see it. Needless to say, you do not want to see the latest Gaiden ep. I'm content to postpone the trauma for a month myself.

In happier news, I opened the Mid-kid cupboard this afternoon after the kids were gone and saw a bright red bag sitting on the shelf. 'Hey!' I said, 'mooncakes! Did T's mom bring them in?' 'No, T's Dad. You want them? I don't like them and Other Staff said they're too sweet for her.' Oh yes I want them. Swiped the box of four. And then, on conscience-stricken reflection, put two back, because our infant part-timer wanted mooncakes too but couldn't find any. She can have them Monday.

And yes, they are very very good. Standard lotus paste but... very very good.

I may have clicked and downloaded a zip, but I haven't looked yet.

Last time daughter delighted in reminding me that "Kenren has been eaten by a grue." for several weeks just to wind me up.

I don't think so. More grues, by the sound of it. As in May, we knew it was going to happen but.

No grues, but plenty of gore. Spectacular amounts of gore.

No matter how much you know what's going to happen in the end the details are heart wrenching.
