It's not that big of a deal. I suspect it's my connection more than anything else.
Nowadays there are a myriad of sites to choose from and I just go for which ever one is loading the fastest on any particular day.
Whilst trawling for sites to watch j-dorama Maou, I found a Korean site, pandora tv. Where for the past 10 weeks (has it already been that) it has fed me my addiction.
So far it's been easy enough to navigate on that site. Thankfully.
Other sites I use most often are Veoh and You tube and on occassion crunchyroll.
Broadband should be fast enough to bring in tudou, I'd have thought; especially since paleaswater doesn't have it. And only tudou seems to have the Chinese dorama clips I'm looking for. Unless you've noticed Chinese fen uploading to these other sites?
For me it takes a little while for the screen to show up on the black background; probably it's a question of connection speed. How long have you been waiting for the screen to show up?
