How did I manage to read so many English books, I wonder, in a month that was all work and Woxin? (Four is many for me. I read slow.) Answer: took the week of the 7th off and didn't set foot near the daycare.

Won't say, wrote nothing, but certainly finished nothing because the beast that lurched back to life (very much thanks to Woxin) will be slim novel length if it ever gets written. I suspect that to keep writing it I must keep watching Woxin, which means rewatching, which I must do anyway but...

Probably I said the same thing when I was your age, and I didn't have kids/ parents/ spouses/ houses to look after either. "Oh god more kanji more grammar more exercises I haven't read a book in aaaages..." (Well, I did read a number of books in English that year, but they were translations of Japanese novels and I had to write exams and papers on them.)
