Inspired by looking through my copy of Gaiden 3 and seeing all the little details I miss when the thing's printed on newsprint. Not a visual person, me. Inspired also by heat, which makes long composition impossible.
pages 33-35, for the interested, plus something that became very apparent in this volume )

There's also more seal script in 3; and it's always the same hanzi, attached to those little sketches of the guys in modern clothes. I'm assuming it's the equivalent of 'Minekura me pingit', and when it's cool enough I'll check to see what 'Minekura me pingit' looks like in seal script.

ETA: pinxit. Pingo pingere pinxi pictum. 40C humidex shouldn't drive basic Latin verbs from the head but oddly enough it does. Oddly enough.

Early on in my Tokyo stay the gas company had a contest, for people to write haiku with the last line 'But still, there's the bath.' They published a two-page spread of winners somewhere- given what a lazy sod I was at the time, I probably read it in the Japan Times, in translation. I only remember two. )
