Am having an attack of apocalypsosis. Think it's partly due to a head cold that hasn't quite manifested and partly to reading the news of the world in The Guardian and partly to dealing with government bureaucratic inanities. Bureaucracies reduce me to a weepy puddle of helpless pulp; I think it's because of the impossibility of reasoning with them. Apocalypsosis is helped by dinner and wine next door and my s-i-l's cheerful attitude that bureaucracies are to be outwitted, not co-operated with. I wish I were my s-i-l, or that I were married to someone like her.

Oh yes. Saturday was my lj tenth anniversary. Hu seo thrag gewat...

There are people who feel optimistic and empowered, even in the world as it is. I wish I knew how they managed it.
