You know, when I read it in the 90s I could have sworn The Gloryhole Murders were written by a gay man, and the fact that I'd found nothing later than '87 by him meant he'd succumbed to AIDS, as so many 80s writers did. Well, no, none of the above: Tony Fennelly is a woman, evidently alive and well and living with her husband on a 72-acre farm. (The only wiki article available is in German.)
