I'm rapidly approaching the bottom of my New York manga pile. This is so sad; soon I'll be reduced to reading O-oku and ahem my *2009* New York manga pile. Last night I read vol 1 of something called Ryuu no hanawazurai/ 龍の花わずらい about the half-dragon princess of a desert town and her two fiances. Fluffy shoujo fluff; would read more if I had it but I don't. *Could* read the rest of the series if I wanted to-- google's first two pages are all 'read online!' webpages-- but I dislike reading online and I fancy my old browsers would have fits at the downloads. Youtube already keeps yelling that they no longer support whichever Firefox I have, and so do google.docs and a bunch of other sites. Dommage. Win98 doesn't support the latest Firefox, so nah.

How much of O-oku have you read ... I heard the series goes way back and is long. Just curious is all.

Spring is not so very far away till you go again (to NY I mean) I mean. It is already the 12th and I'm going ... how did it get to the second week of school already? ^_~

I haven't read any O-oku. I have vol 1, and looked at it and wasn't overwhelmed; but Yoshinaga isn't a favourite of mine.

We *hope* I go in the spring. Work has a way of making vacation difficult to take.
