Some time between this morning and this evening something changed in LJ so that Clear Type no longer makes the fonts black and defined as before. Given that Clear Type is a global Windows setting for smoothing font edges and must be changed from the Control Panel, I can't see why it would stop working in LJ only, but so it is. And ohh but I am pissed by it.

I thought that something had gone funky with Livejournal, but only on my work computer (Internet Explorer) so I couldn't put my finger on it.

Whatever LJ has done, fie on them.
