The trials of fandom
Ahh Kinokuniya. I wish I knew how to quit you. (Well, I do. Pig in a poke subscription through Iwase, or go back to Tokyo. No more subscriptions for me-- I was one who had their GFantasy subscription *finally* get through the month Minekura took off-- and no more Tokyo either. Shall suck it up.)
Kinokuniya doesn't take pre-orders on magazines. So you wait till the shipment comes in, which is usually a week, and order your copy. So I order my copy today. And am told the shipment came in last week and was sold out same afternoon. Are re-ordering. Will send then. Will get it in two weeks. Am still faster than
saiyuki_manga.
Volume 4 comes out July 25, info thanks to the Russian scanlation linked by

Thanks for the info -- must grab at some point. Since I've all but given up on Reload, I keep forgetting Gaiden is still out there to be savoured (well, for a wee bit longer, at least).
Now if she'd just remember she has this other title that needs attention....

She has several, and only two unreliable hands. Which series were you thinking of?

Wild Adapter, which, quite truthfully, I would prefer to see more regularly than anything Saiyuuki-related, at this point.

Incidentally, do you have a copy of John M Ford's The Dragon Waiting? I picked up a spare one secondhand today.
