OK, five Pratchetts this month, and one reread. Am running out of (for my purposes) first-class Pratchett and getting into the second-string stuff. Second string still has its useful moments, eg

While he, Patrician of Ankh-Morpork, ruled the city, preserved the city, loved the city, hated the city and had spent a lifetime in the service of the city...

There's much one could do with that line.

I have to admit that my first thought is, "Ah, Motion Pictures!"

And my second is to imagine CMOT Dibbler attempting to advertise Woxin Changdang "With One Thousand Elephants!"

I blame 5pm insanity.

It's true, now you mention it. Woxin Changdan /should/ have had elephants in it.
