Yeah, I finished it

And the other thing wrong with Green Snake, aside from an almost American casualness to things like coherent narrative and character consistency, is that it ends with a rousing song whose lyrics go something like OOmpa-loompa OOmpa-loompa OOmpa-loompa UMMM. Inspired by the Hindu dancing girls earlier on who but naturally perform in the cabaret of this Chinese city, and conducive to hideous earworms.

(Is there a rule in HK film that People Must Sing? It's what makes them sound like Bollywood to me- quite apart from Hindu dancing girls in Nanjing or wherever it is.)

In the dynasty of Tang, Capital Chang'An resided countless foreigners.
In the wine houses or restaurants, the mandarins and poets enjoyed not only the performances by Chinese dancers and singers, but also the ones by Indians and Persians, etc. Some of the traditional music instruments played by Chinese were originated from Middle Asia.
