A bulky parcel from Kinokuniya is waiting inside the door when I come home. Yeah, four weeks to get my WARD, as promised. But I open it up in order to see the Marshmallow King of the Peeps in the living flesh.
They sent me the summer WARD.
I go to the email confirmation I got from them back in November, which has the words WARD Winter edition in the subject line and in my original email, and send it back to them, telling them they sent me the summer WARD vol 17 when I wanted the Winter WARD vol 18, can they please send me the Winter WARD vol 18, and can I send them back the Summer WARD they sent me in exchange for the Winter WARD vol 18 that came out on November 15.
Trouble is, I don't know if they can at this date.
And I am so not looking forward to going through this every two months come the new year.

Thank you thank you and thank you once again. It's a lot of happy goodness. Have had a quick glance through, because girl was intrigued by the pretty covers too. (Yes I completely forgot it was coming so I opened it whilst we're all sat in the living room!! o_0 ! I R silly!!!)
I quickly said that some might not be very interesting and have put it where hopefully she will eventually not think about it to ask me about, until she gets to whenever it is! ^_~ SO will look at them at leisure when the children are abed.! Hee! but they're all lovely and thank you once again and now I have to brush up on my reading, whip S&H, and the dictionaries out.
I hope you clear up your Kino Woes! *Sigh!* It's a good one to have because apparently the last installment of Mr Morning is in it. I like it when the stories are complete in a nice short stint!

"Mama is it okay for a boy and a boy to be like girlfriend and boyfriend?" (I was silently freaking out because I was not sure if there was a correct way of the answer to a five/six year old child). So, trying to keep my cool and keeping my voice as level as I could, I said,
"Sure, I think it's okay." I left it at that. I hope I did right. ^__^
You know sometimes I wish children came with manuals and I don't buy into those self-help "How To" books. I guess then it's my own fault really. It's like a double edged sword, on the one hand I don't want to have to pay to be told what common sense and instinct tells me to do, on the other hand I don't want to be told that my instincts and common sense are rubbish either. Ho hum!
Yes thanks, we were both a little worried about customs and the board of censors intercepting the post and having a peek to see if there was any "questionable" content!

I think that's a good answer! I'm sure all parents do, but your instincts and common sense are sound, don't worry.

If the budget extends to it, I *strongly* recommend a Canon Wordtank. Takes the pain out of kanji look-up.

A lovely collection indeed. Are you sure what I sent up was enough? The paper and ink 'feel' different to how I expected they would be. The ones without the glossy cover feel like manuscripts and that just is wonderful.
Hmmm as to the "Wordtank" Wow!, very droolicious! >.< Sadly that's about all I can afford now, having the I-L's around took it out of me a little.
Maybe I can drop enough hints and maybe by September hubby might "get it". You know 'Men', sometimes a little slow on the uptake ^_~.
Hubby is also awaiting a package from your neck of the woods. It be the Lego I spoke of which he ordered on e-Bay. I keep telling him no more!!! But does he listen to me? *insert long suffering sigh!*
ALso I discover that my Katakana is dreadfully slow! Hiragana actually came to me fairly quick I really don't know why I have so much trouble with the other.
