Hat trick

Third and last: is there a filter that blocks certain lj users always? So that you don't see their entries on other people's FLs or in other people's comments or anywhere? Because, though it pains me to say it, my FL occasionally has distressing taste in friends. The same three offenders are flipping everywhere I go and I would dearly love to be spared their self-important yammering.

AFAIK, this nifty functionality dun exist for us free-loaders. If this is also true for paid users, do suggest it to the LJ team!

(but why don't you want to see 'em self-important yammerings? dun like to point and smirk? me, i read 'em for educational purposes...)

I have a perm acct, thanks to a gracious anonymous donor, and thought I'd read of some firefox extension that would do it.

My blood pressure is at stake. Also at least one of them pokes her finger into a decades-old grudge about Goddamn Brits'n'yanks who think Canada
1. exists to give them a break from their own screwed up gov'ts and/or a job when they couldn't get one in their own country, and
2. should be honoured to host their presence. (Same attitude exists among expats in Japan. Does not go over any better there. Note to 'The world is ours'-ers: NO IT ISN'T.)

Thank you, I feel better.

Thanks for the mention of extension. I thought, nifty scripts, ergo greasemonkey! And here you go:

I know there's also some code you can put into your layout to make that happen, but I only know what the code is for a single certain layout. I suppose google might help if you wanted to go searching. They call them kill files or kill lists.

When I'm at work I have to travel in stealth-mode on the internets. Hence the hats. Because with the hats, nobody can recognize me.
