Fic without shame? When piggywiggins fly. So here, have a shame-making 100 Demons fic, probably the least squicky from the list of possible 100 Demons squick fics.

Not the story I wanted to tell blah blah blah usual disclaimers and heart scorchings taken as read. Is not the story I wanted to tell because I kept rereading the manga and thereafter adjusting the way everyone expressed themselves, so score one for canonicity at any rate. Oh, and spoilers of course for vol 9 action and- what? some vol 6? no, 7- Akama details as well.

Title from a sonnet by the 16th century poet Thomas Wyatt, here with footnotes for those not up on their 16th century poets. Direct attention to last line, though I'm not quite sure how accurate it is in context.

Volume 5 was out in December or January or so -- no sign of Volume 6 yet. I keep an eye out.

Y'know, I can't help but be pleased by another installment of the vaguely creepy fanfic (this being me, after all). ^__^

Incidentally. In case you need it for conversion of your flist to right thinking, the group that had been fan-translating this series into English revived not long ago and is at it again. If I keep this series up it'll turn totally creepy, because lately I've become obsessed with that Journey in the Snow story and the one panel where pajama!Aoarashi-in-bed! grabs weeRitsu! by the wrist and *leers* at him. So ah yes let's concentrate on Kai instead, gazing deeeeply into Ritsu's eyes and saying 'just one piece? one little piece aww c'mon hmmm?'

Urk. Yes. Safety lies only in Kai & Akama and I don't want to do that because I'm convinced Ima will herself, one of these fine days.

But by my calculations the French should have two more tanks out by now and they don't. What ails them?
