Have paid a chunk of my property taxes and consequently feel scratchy and ill-used, as I always do at tax-time. Also the spasm cough-strangle-weep-sneeze routine is back again, in spite of small daily doses of Strong Cough Syrup and frequent washing-out of nasal passages. Also I hate everything I'm reading and don't want to do it anymore.

Shall try the powers of a hot bath.

I sympathise. I was just paying my own taxes last week, and am still nursing my cold. May our respiratory tracts both get a move on with the recovering thing.
