Certainly not advisable. Oh well. At least lj lets you delete entries when you finally realize what an ass you've made of yourself. Supposing you do.

You make me quite curious.

There are emotions which, though unlovely, are natural and understandable and I've felt like that myself. As it might be, envy of people's talent or their popularity with people whose esteem you want for yourself. But a certain sense of shame, or at least a bald desire not to look adolescent, keeps most of us from telling the world about it. Adolescents are under no compunction not to look adolescent; but chronological adults who still claim adolescent privilege are a crawling embarrassment. 'I sympathize with you but jeez, shut up already.'

*nods* I understand that sense of shame-- and yet I also find the need for that delete button from time to time myself. ;)

She's totally not gonna link to whatever it is. Ah well.

Damn straight. Not unless I friends lock and filter. People who would google themselves to see what other people are saying about them are sure to check who's linked to their lj recently. I, of course, have forgotten how you check who's linked to your lj, though I knew once because I met a very lovely woman that way.

Ah, I didn't quite expect her to, but I was curious for a little more information because reading between the lines has never been my strong suit. ;) And she provided that admirably.
