Arrival of the Pink Dragon

(Larger better version here.)

No, the lovely moire skin doesn't appear to advantage under a digital flash, nor the impish expression either. But he's beautiful. He wears traditional 12 Kingdoms-ish clothes- a brocade jacket with a high neck, over a long full sleeved underrobe that covers the hands at need and has a long train behind. The horns don't show in this one (we had to prop his head up for that) nor the spiny tale, alas.

There are also the little pink boots, and the fact that continental dragons don't wear underwear...

Thank you so much, [livejournal.com profile] joasakura!

Nope, just the folds of the neck where they're stitched in. Though it's a question, isn't it? Dragons have chin beards so why don't humanform dragons have chin beards, and how does a scaled creature shave if they do?

Somebody said to me once that only truly evil people are bearded in the Saiyuki-verse. I don't think that's true, though it holds for Litouten.

Dragons have chin beards so why don't humanform dragons have chin beards, and how does a scaled creature shave if they do?

So handy that the creator of the universe prefers to draw clean-shaven men, eh? XD

Isn't that what claws are for?

Isn't that ouchy? (contemplates plucking eyebrows with sharp strong finger nails)

Would a Real Dragon be loftily above "ouchy"? Il faut souffrir d'ĂȘtre belle and so on.

But wouldn't dragonform dragons then pluck their goatees as well?
