It's practically a point of honour in my family for the women to have no sense of humour. The Silly doesn't make us laugh. Only wordplay makes us laugh. Nous sommes Francaises after all, even if we aren't really. To compensate for this, I find even unwitting wordplay painfully funny- and I do mean painful. I nearly had an asthma attack over this, Chinese English subtitles for Revenge of the Sith. I too will warn for mild spoilers if you haven't seen it. But dear God, does this Silly make me laugh. 'I was just made by the Presbyterian Church.' 'He big in nothing important in good elephant.' 'I should really feeds you all dog.' 'Giving first aid the already disheveled hair projection.' Ahh. Once again- 'James Joyce on acid.'
(We all loved Python but then we said it was because Python was /witty/, though there's nothing witty about 'No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition!' It's just funny.)
