I must have hallucinated that dusting of snow last night because there was no trace of it at all this morning. And with an extreme cold alert into today it couldn't have just melted. So I walked over to acupunctue which was very much Go Me, because my right-side everything was in spasm. The restaurant I'd hoped to lunch at over a Cosmopolitan has taken to not opening until 4, so I had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel instead, but bagel joints aren't licenced. This did not help me get up the two flights of stairs to my acupuncturist's but I made it anyway.

Then took a cab to Fiesta and because it's Valentine's Day, bought me a whole red velvet cake. When I buy cake at Fiesta it's always the individual slices at reduced prices ie beginning to go stale. So fresh cake is a rare treat. Have eaten a quarter of it, which is entirely too much: I will never get back to healthy eating until I can start weighing myself in the morning before breakfast, which I can't do because it takes a minimum 30 minutes stretch and strengthen just to be able to walk down the hall, and another 30 minutes for the pills to work- if they do- which I have to take with food so no weighing me on an empty stomach. However, dinner will be an apple and celery, so it may even out.
