 So obsessed was I with my sensory functioning all weekend that I didn't notice until today that my new stairs lack that piece of doweling between step and riser that kinda stops water from running inside the steps. Must call contractor in the morning. Don't want to. Want things to be right the first time.

FTR and so I don't forget it, I believe it's called cove molding, or maybe it isn't.
