Flurries, they said. This was why I didn't want to have my dentist appointment today, because what we got was snow squalls. Still, my cab showed up in good time and gave me 45 minutes to cruise the local Shoppers there, so yes I got my stamps (the devil's agreement between Shoppers and the PO is something I have Opinions about, given that Shoppers also belongs to robber baron Galen Weston) as well as a lavender bean bag to replace my ancient one that leaks beans no matter how much I mend it. And the snow stopped by the time I got out so the cab back was no trouble either. But I went to my closing restaurant for dinner and it began snowing again when I left so I was pushing my way through those 2 cm/ nearly an inch accumulation, which requires muscles I don't have.

But! But! The dental plan reduced my several hundred dollar cleaning to a paltry $36!! And will reduce my nearly $800 fillings to less than $200! So I'm that much money to the good budget-wise (dentists and house insurance are when I regularly have to ask the money people for a top up). Maybe I'll get that upright walker after all. Or maybe hold onto it until I see what this year's property  tax increase comes to, moan groan tremble.
