Snow on the roof tops when I got up this morning already melting in the sun. Parts of the province have had several feet already and I moved my physio appointment because it's supposed to fall heavily on Wednesday, my usual day. I hope the downtown microclimate will come to my aid, but best to be safe.

Went to get myscle relaxants at the pharmacy yesterday but the case that has them was closed and locked. I was afraid this might be a new gov't restriction or something. Inquired of the pharmacist. No, it's that the lock was broken. Still was today. It won't hurt me to go without for a bit. I don't think methocarbamol actually works; more a placebo effect.

Scotia Bank informs me that they've sent me a replacement card for the one that expires in January and I should activate it ASAP. This is nice of them except that they sent it by mail. How, I wonder, since the postal workers are on strike and post offices aren't open. I shall hope the strike gets settled some time in the next six weeks. Luckily this is the card I don't use for online payments, and that I also have cheques on at need, but I may have some heavy expenses that it would come in handy for, like dentists. Eh bien. Bridges when I come to them.

Meanwhile my lenses appeared promptly on Sunday, belying the '3 to 5 business days.' So am set for the next three months and change.
