Hung a wash on the line and observed that oh dear back yard is seriously overgrown. So got clippers and gloves and hedge trimmer and flattened a good swath of same, one garden bag full of which is sitting out under the cherry tree, along with gloves but not implements, awaiting the rain. Back will not let me do much more in spite of vodka and two glasses  of wine at my tony Korean restaurant.

Restaurant was unwontedly lackadaisical about taking my order and delivering same, but no matter, I have a regency murder mystery which I apparently read back in 2013 and have no memory of at all. But I often wonder why I can barely manage the stainless steel chopsticks they have there, while the lacquer ones at New Gen give me no trouble at all.
