Friday, March 1st, 2024 08:35 pmAs promised, the library catalogue and personal accounts have returned, missing the 'late February' deadline by only one day. Of course it hangs like a hanging thing, since everyone and their sibs rushes to put holds on things again. But by exercising patience, I have holds on my last two Flavia Albias, so am content. Library has no Wishart to speakof, alas, so if I want my missing Corvinus it must come from the mighty river. This after I stayed up to nearly 3 a.m. finishing Dead Men's Sandals makes me sad, but I'm only missing Sejanus, I think, and, well, Sejanus has many ooglies in it. I'm probably better off without.
And I should reread A Power Unbound, even if the library doesn't believe it lent it to me. There are drawbacks to doing everything by hand, as in the old days, which is what they had to do while computerless.
Weighed self this morning, and as always at month's start was Oh Dear. Am afraid this is fallout from Starbucks sweet cream cold brews, to which I have become addicted. But the calorie count in a small is only 110. That shouldn't add up. Must drink more water, then, since moving doesn't seem to do it. Le sigh
