Saturday, May 13th, 2023 09:44 pmThe heat has departed: today was seasonable and sunny with a breeze. Still tshirt weather, no jackets or tank tops needed. There are in fact very few days that hit the 'just right' tshirt sweet spot so I make the most of them when they happen. Did a wash and hung it on the line and it dried in a few hours. So yay for that.
Doctor called the other day to advise me that the anti-inflams I've been on for the last eight years cause high blood pressure and heart attacks in people over 70. Well, I have water pills for the first and statins for the second but she'd still like me off the meds if possible. I'm down to two a day and occasionally one, and we shall see what can be done with plain Tylenol, but Tylenol is basil leaves to me. Though she seems to think I can take 4000 mg a day with no ill effect. Yes paracetamol trashes the liver but so do my anti-inflams. So we shall see.
