Another April 3. I really should stop this Frodo-like anniversarying over an ancient injury. In any case I was very active today: dark wash at the laundromat, latte at the old cafe, book from the library, and two cocktails at last year's restaurant. Cocktails  were because back would go into spasm in spite of all the walking. But was rewarded by a banded grey November sky as I walked up the street and the faint smell of woodsmoke, which is the landscape of unplaceable childhood happiness for me.
