Feeling rather less achy today, though I was hoping I could repeat this weekend's post-chiro limber. Probably requires a drier day because today, though all white and blue, had saturated air as well. August. What can you do?

Brother dropped by after who knows how many months- four? five?- bearing cherry juice and paper towels, the latter being what I'd asked him to bring.  They've been largely at the cottage, bar a trip to Montreal that s-i-l and her New Mexican niece took and my bro wisely did not. Because they flew, out of Toronto, on Air Canada. I believe Pearson's understaffing woes may have made the Guardian, and all through July we were regaled with stories of AC's lost luggages: missing for three weeks, or ended up in Dubai instead of Stuttgart, or simply sat in the airport for a week because wherever it was supposed to be, Toronto wasn't it and no baggage handler came to look at it. And as foretold, their flight was cancelled twice and niece's luggage did not make it to Montreal. It did get sent back to NM, and s-i-l took the train home, which was probably what they should have done to get there.

Am supposed to have bloodwork done every three months and haven't. Doctor sends me the requisition form by email and I print it out, or used to when I had a computer. I may have a form left over from before but thought I'd better get a new one, so called the secretary to ask could she send me a bunch. 'No. We don't have the means- no stamps or envelopes.' Which floors me: what do her aged patients do? No idea. She suggests I send her a stamped envelope. Which I may, or maybe I'll forward the old email to my bro or NND and ask them to print it. There's also a way of theoretically getting the library to print it but that's a bit techier than I feel up for.
