Oh woezers woezers. Symptoms of hyper-contagious omicron subvariant the whateverth: body aches and joint pain, aka yesterday. Mind, yesterday was all 'gale force wind/  pressure changes/ rain.' Can I blame it on that? (I can't now recall a thing about yesterday. Being in solitary sure scrambles the brain.)

Today was some better, bar the other knee, but I ignored the other knee and walked down  to the Korean supermarket, surprisingly unpeopled for a Saturday given that it's usually chock-a-block unmoving. Young Koreans *will* shop in straggling groups of four or five, and old Koreans in couples, and neither pay any attention to people with walkers including other elderly Koreans. However I got gyoza (not being up for a two subway stop walk) and plum shiso furikake (stuff you sprinkle on rice) and alas Pocky and Meiji chocolate-covered almonds, which is what I had for lunch. Had good intentions of using the exercise bike but did acrostics instead. Did cook up asparagus for dinner, in olive oil and Himalayan salt, and off course splattered oil on my good top. Google says use baking soda and dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush to remove spots. Have tried the first two, at any rate, but again, I still hurt and don't feel like using the last. Beanbags and a hot shower is what I'm up for.

Checking past entries tells me that no matter how I remember it, I still had allergy symptoms in '20 and '21, so no great wonder if I have them in '22. Mighty sneezes and stuffiness and strangling  tickle cough, though not to the convulsive level. Maaaybe I'll try the mild tylenol with codeine and see if that helps either aches or cough? I'm afraid to say 'Couldn't hurt' because then of course it will.
