Friday, February 25th, 2022 10:02 pmHaving an attack of Silence, augmented by the Don'wannas. Possibly augmented by actually going out four days out of five and briefly seeing my brother on the fifth. Monday walked to acupuncture and had a Cosmopolitan at the pub nextish door, which has either gone to full hours or was open early on the holiday Monday. Tuesday, a nasty grey windy rainy day, was physio, and a Serbian cab driver gloomily predicting the apocalypse. Wednesday John came by to pick up mail, most of which was for the grandson who lives up the street from me and is perfectly capable of getting his own mail. Thursday I shopped and today, cold and sunny after the snow last night, was massage.
And coming home, when I opened the door of the cab, suddenly the door was full of very friendly dog , tail a-wagging, who jumped up to make friends with me. Took some persuasion to get him to sit down and let me out, as his feckless owner moseyed over to call him to heel. But still, rather a nice thing to happen.
Otherwise I do my exercises but do not exercise, and drink too much, is why I now weigh what I did back in June of '21. Some of which is the daily pastry of the last two weeks, which time will deal with. The rest, ah well. When and if I stop hurting so much and the sidewalks are clear, I trust I'll walk that off too.
