No need to isolate because I'm already isolated
Friday, January 7th, 2022 04:11 pmGarage tenant is still missing in action.
Southern NND has not come by to pick up her xmas card (and wine) in spite of texting me that she's back from Alberta and me texting her to come round when she has time.
Was doing my exercises last night and sent my back into screaming agony spasm. Nuked it with muscle relaxants and, when I could sort of move again, beanbags, but there was a good ten minutes of extremely foul language while I tried to find a position that would ease the cramp. Such a position doesn't exist. Still crampy and stiff this morning, and no idea why stuff I do every day should occasionally detonate the landmines like this.
Doctor ordered me new meds in early December. Meds did not arrive. After a week I called his secretary and left a message. Secretary did not call back until 10 days later about something else. "Tell the pharmacy to check their voicemail." Couldn't get through to the pharmacy because Christmas/ New Year/ omicron. Doctor calls me Tuesday to ask how meds are working out. "I don't have them." He reorders them. Cannot get through to pharmacy to ascertain if he did or not, so limp out in the -17C windchill. Pharmacy has no record of prescription. "Check your voicemail 'cause he doesn't fax." "I'll get the pharmacist to look into it." I wait. And wait. After 20 minutes get her attention again. "He's looking through the voicemails but there's a dozen of them." I'm guessing understaffed because omicron, so say I'll come back tomorrow. But sheesh, guys, check you voicemail now and again.
