(no subject)

Nice enough day. Sun shone, and after two days straight of intractable hip pain- including last night- was suddenly limber enough to get up the street for my meds, and while there bought a quarter of a lemon white cake to celebrate my birthday. Had to cab it to acupuncture because it was at 4:15 and I didn't think it'd be light enough an hour later, but it's actually not dark-dark at that hour if the sky is clear. Made a  Cobb salad of sorts to have some veg with my pig, did 45 minutes of bicycling, read some of this Japanese textbook I've been working through because I never did back in the late 80s, and called myself virtuous.

And so to bed.
