Slept in till past 9 this morning, but remain dopey and not there, and thus have little memory of what I did most of the day. Staved off morning depression (combination of mug, sore allergy throat, and neighbourhood skunk) by writing necessary emails and doing my exercises meticulously. Knees responded by aching all day, a result of the humidity of these moist June days. At least we were treated to a cool clear evening after, pinky baroque clouds that for once did not turn into thunderheads. On a hunch I took off both knee braces and walked happily up to Loblaws, which cheers me immensely because I haven't been able to do that in over three months. The respite may not last but it suggests the possibility of improvement.
