Oh yes of course I shovelled snow all yesterday, and then-- stiff and zombie-like-- all this morning, to get rid of the deadly combination of house owner indifference and snow plow malice. (A wall in the middle of the sidewalk on the way to the subway, with frozen ridges on either side of it. He'd shovelled his back patio, I noticed.) Legs are no worse than before and possibly a bit better for the exercise. No telling what will make them cross or not. But the arms-- dear god. You'd think I'd never lifted a baby in the last five years. Whatever's on the bottom side of my left arm aches ferociously. Back isn't happy either, but there are heat wraps for that.
So was thinking, as I showered later this morning and applied tiger balm to everything owie, that tomorrow's acupuncture should at least take the edge off. Then looked at email. Broken pipe flooded studio which is closed until further notice.
Clearly this is a job for ativan! Which is why I'm yawning at 10 pm. Good-night.
