There was much sweeping up of tinsel and shiny dust - that which came off our 18 year old baubles and tree. Not all are that age as they've been added to over the years, but before the girl came we didn't really *do* Christmas. She was born on the 1st of Dec '99 and now she delights in the putting up of it with her Daddy. He was very silly when he came home with the tree.
I was all like, she's 3 weeks old, she cannot see the tree even.
"She can see the lights!" he was adamant. She was so teeny tiny and it was a very happy, silly moment.
