Walking nearly 10,000 steps once again loosens up the pesky hip flexors that plague me in the morning. Can't do it today with its lowering skies and forecast rain, so decide to vacuum and dust the front bedroom. After which I had to change all my clothes and probably should have showered as well because OMG the mug mug mug mug. This is that uncomfortable part of late August and September: too muggy for tshirts, too cool for tanktops, too cool for fans, too warm without them. Better than heat but still uncomfortable.
However this summer has certainly brought the hibiscus out all over the neighbourhood. Maybe we always had hibiscus and I just never noticed, or maybe the world decided that it would plant hibiscus whenever it got a chance. Whatever, my daily walks- when I walk- are accompanied by a riot of pinky purple.
