flemmings | (no subject)

After sitting indoors (emphasis on sitting) for three days I got out to the super today, double bagged and in the cheap blue winter coat that is far warmer than my pricey North Face regular. Has deeper pockets too: no gloves falling out as they have three times so far with the NF. The last two times someone ran after me with my dropped glove, but one can't always rely on the kindness of strangers. At least I didn't need to double bag my gloves, meaning it wasn't *that* cold. Or maybe double gloving only happened with bicycling. Or wind. There wasn't much wind today which was why, though theoretically colder than yesterday, I was able to get out. Also the streets are bone dry so I could wear shoes.

Otherwise it's going to be a long two years. I trust both houses will flip at the midterms, but still.
