Malignance/ stupidity in my backyard
Bomb threat called in to Toronto's Jewish Community Centre this morning. They evacuated the place in seven minutes flat, including, apparently, the people who were in the pool at the time. Nice response, but...
Local campus police came round to the DC (four blocks away) to suggest we stay at the centre until the all clear, which happened while I was on my lunch: more precisely, at Bakka buying Aaronovitch's Night Witch to soothe my feelings. Hope they trace the small-souled piece of shit who thought this up and throw the book at them.
