Neighbourhood FB group posts that some teenaged lout punched a panhandler at Bloor and Bathurst. Bystanders came to his aid but the lout and his friends ran off. And now I'm worrying about which one it was and is he OK and I can't go out to see for myself because even in the house I'm coughing up gunk. Both guys are non-aggressive-- the Maritimer doesn't even say anything-- so the attack was totally unprovoked. I'm just sick and angry.

Any info you can get on how to help that panhandler whenever you can safely get it to us is welcome!

It seems there was a woman with the guy so it's not the maritimer at least, because he's always alone. It might not be either of the regulars in fact, because there are a couple of new faces at that corner. I wait further details.

While I know Ontario (and indeed Canada as a whole) is a big place, news of those fires has had me worrying about you. Hope the air clears soon.
