And all the rain falls down amen
Currently having a Toronto Particular, which is a stagnant storm system that... sits there and dumps water on you. Given that yesterday this happened up north in Barrie and cottage country, perhaps it should be called the Ontario Particular. (People were seen kayaking in the streets up there.) A Toronto Particular would then be the condition that prevailed before the rain: temperature of 22C or low 70s F that feels like 31C or high 80s F. Turned on the window AC and a bunch of fans to cool the house and am now too cold. Oh for a dorai kiipu to go with these rainy season/ typhoon conditions.
It was raining this morning when I got up and then stopped long enough to get to the store. So I'm pepsied for the next few days at least. But lower back has been very unhappy all day which can't just be weather. OTOH when I went to close the study window to keep out the downpour, there on the mousepad was a little green pill that I thought I'd taken this morning. Not that my anti-inflams affect my muscles and such, but am chuffed that my knees were perfectly happy unmedicated on this soggy spongey day.
