My chiro may be more physio than chiro but when he pushes at my stubborn hip and opens it up I have a faint, fleeting, but definite intimation of... uncrippledness, call it. The way I felt longer ago than I can remember when it didn't hurt to walk. Of course things then tighten up, but at least the sense of its possibility is there.
Got a chunk of change from the money tree to pay for all this, and so at once went to Skip the Dishes to order in a hamburger or a banh mi or a kofta platter. Filled an order three times then unticked the items because-- well, I'd love any of the above at a restaurant, but delivery is never as satisfying. And I can't go out because my shoulder sulks at my backpack or my rollator or even a bra strap (which is why I have three lycra camisoles that it's too hot to wear: hysterical shoulders are nothing new in my profession.) So I reheated my chicken and veg soup and had an open-faced tomato and ham sandwich on pumpernickel, and that is how one has enough money for essentials like chiropractors.

Those look intriguing but of course they're sold out at the moment. The sizing is also very Japanese: I'd need a 3XL to accommodate bust and torso.
