Slept with the AC and fan on last night and ah but it was heavenly. Today however started with wind and continued through rain and downpours so I had to stay in most of the day, which gave the telephone scammers carte blanche to harass me. At last count it was two live duct cleaning services, two robot 'your amazon account has been compromised' and one 'your social insurance number has been suspended.' I went out to the store in the evening and thereby missed a couple of canvassers, thank god. Next election there will be a large No canvassers sign on my front door, sinceva lawn sign doesn't deter them.
Wet weather however turns my right leg into wobbly stabbing spaghetti. More strengthening exercises, I suppose.
Am informed that taxi drivers have been allowed to increase their fares by a dollar per something to offset gas prices. This makes rides more expensive but also relieves me of the need to tip 50% to, well, offset gas prices, so I suppose is win-win.
