Wish I knew how tumblr worked, or wish tumblrites weren't so close-mouthed, but basically wish I knew if Library Gothic was real or just notes towards a very scary novel.

"______ Gothic" is a meme, actually: like Southern Gothic, except instead of the South you come up with location-specific stuff for other locations. It started off more as writing prompts/humour and has evolved in certain cases into flashfic, of which Library Gothic is one.
