Sometimes I can almost remember what it's like to walk and sit and stand without pain and without thinking. Thai massage is good for that. But y'day's massage started inner leg twinges that recurred all night and all morning, and today's started the 'swollen back of the knee thing. I can still bend my knee, which is a huge advance over Monday and Tuesday, but I'm desolate that the 'fix everything and make it better' panacea didn't.

That sounds painful. I'm sorry the massage didn't help!

The structural FUBAR that are my legs and feet guarantees this will happen occasionally. Structural FUBARs are not overcome by a single massage, alas.

Ow. Much sympathy.

Thank you. And the swelling might, just might, be due to that power walk home and back, in boots over ice, to get to my appt on time. Should be grateful I can walk at all after that.

I hate walking on ice, even with those nailed straps you sent me.
