Seriously, guys?

Amazing Interior Design Ideas--

for the rich, as someone said

for those who live in the tropics (and even so, an always open entrance in any place with wind and rain?) (And even so, the tropics aren't guaranteed to stay that way)

for those with no acrophobia *at all*.

The staircase bookcase and outdoor office OTOH....

The outdoor office looks kinda like one of those storage-unit things you buy at a home center, and there's entirely too much table tennis. Also, balcony pools? Seems to me there might be a little bit of a weight-bearing issue there... However, yes, the bookcase staircase is genius.

It does look generic, I agree, but the idea of having an office next to the garden is lovely. Yes, to the balcony pools, and the emphasis on table tennis feels terribly 50s-- people still play that?

The see-through tub, though, and the see-through floor... You know babies won't crawl on a glass surface placed over a visible drop? That's an innate reflex, man, evident even in humans whose hemispheres don't work together.

(Did occur to me there might be a dust problem on the bookshelf stairs, though.)

The forest chandelier and the bathroom shaft look like nightmare fuel to me. I'd always be looking for something moving...

I kind of liked the forest chandelier. The bathroom shaft is simply 'Why?!'

The forest is pretty, I agree. I just don't want it in my room. :)
