The Lost Rivers of Toronto: alas, no orisha as yet

Annoyed flood-bringing dragons maybe. (Or maybe dragons are only in Edmonton. By the sound of it Calgary already has as many as it needs.)

This actually did occur to me when, say, my acupuncturist yesterday described water spurting three feet high from the sewer gratings near St Clair and Ossington as 'Garrison Creek came back to life.'

I fear the Aire here in Leeds falls far flat of any of the Thames children, let alone the Thames themselves. Heaven only knows what dragons would think of it.

It could have its own homely spirit, surely? Dragons don't necessarily need something on the order of the Yellow River to be at home.
