Could be global warming. Could be anything who knows. This time of year is usually warmer, more humid and sticky. And the rain tends to showers and light rains which makes things more humid and sticky. The rain now however is heavier, more like the end-of-year/start-of-year monsoon rains. The world it is a changing, hence the world weather patterns they are a changing too I guess.
