But 'Death be not proud' *doesn't* fit the tune of Old Black Joe. It's all tens, and OBJ is 11/11/11/12. Unless there's some weirdness in Donne's pronunciation that I'm not catching.

Mind, it took me a bit to fit House of the Rising Sun to Ghost Riders in the Sky, so I can't claim I have the talent instinctively.

One has to draw out some and have in the first line, and thou in the 2nd, etc, to fit the tune.

(But if we're going to have to do that, IMHO My Favourite Things and Danny Boy scan more nicely)

Teeth have calmed down, more or less. But canaled tooth is crumbling at the side and must come out; and screaming!tooth *may* have a foreign body in it ('the end of a probe perhaps-- they do break off sometimes') which will keep it screaming at odd intervals. Teeth-- the final frontier.
