The lilacs this year are early-- or, in some cases, were early. A few blossoms appeared on our lilac bush, but they fade fast. There will be none left in a week for sure. But my Wear the Lilac for Alzheimer's pin arrived yesterday, so I am good to go on the glorious 25th.
...am still nostalgic for 2008 when the lilacs lasted weeks and weeks and weeks in the cold.
